A Little Magic

Disneyland. Yep we had our first Disney trip with little Lily. Adam's work had a "Connectivity" event with the real estate team, so Lily and I decided to tag along. We took the necessary "First Disney Family Trip" pictures in front of the entrance and castle.
As you can see from the cute little glare on every picture, we are in need of a new camera. Until that day happens, all outside pictures will look cloudy, just a forewarning for future postings.
The first ride we went on was "Its a Small World." I actually don't think I have been on it since I was kid, if it was even in the park then. Lily and I were in awe. She sat so still in the boat taking it all in until we got inside. Then she busted out the dance moves, waves and clapping.
Next we headed over to Toon Town where Lily explored the fun.
We waited in line for 45 minutes to ride the "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" ride, sadly, both Lily and I were rather freaked out by it after the peaceful experience of Its a Small World. This is what she looked like during whole ride (when she wasn't buried in my side or covering her ears). Yes, she covered her ears in fear and squished my fingers so tight they hurt. Naturally next time we will be skipping that ride. Notice the wide-eyed fear.
After the long wait, Adam got to go to Club 33 for lunch with his co-workers. Apparently Club 33 is an ultra-exclusive, members only, rights passed down through the generations type of restaurant. I hoped to get pictures, but I forgot to give Adam the camera. Maybe one day we can all go!
Lily and I headed over to California Adventure and rode the Monsters Inc ride. Not quite as great as Small World, but at least Lily bug liked it!
Speaking of Lily bug... We went over to the Bug's Life area and rode the caterpillar ride. After that Lily and I were both so tired I decided to call it quits and head home.
Great day, tons of fun, can't wait to go back, especially when Lily will start to remember it!!
